Are there any extra fees?
The basic price covers 150 miles travel per day, as well as insurance. There are some items of equipment you can choose to hire, such as the driveaway awning tent, that would come on top of that. You also need to factor in the cost of diesel and cleaning the van on the day you return it.
How long in advance do I need to book a vehicle?
As per our Terms & Conditions, you generally need to book at least 28 days in advance and pay in full by then; but it's always possible that we have short-term availability due to cancellations. Just ask!
What are the pick-up times for the hire?
Each 24 hour day of booking runs from midday that day to midday the next day. Unless otherwise agreed, the vehicle is to be picked up at midday on the day of booking, and is due for return by midday the day after the last booking date. i.e. a 3 day booking of 1st to 3rd means the vehicle is booked from midday on the 1st, and must be
returned by midday on the 4th.
What about insurance, licence and ID?
To satisfy our insurance, we must be able to check each driver's licence online (instructions in our T&C's), see proofs of address, and satisfy certain requirements as detailed in our Terms & Conditions. Please do have a read and let us know if you have any questions.
